What is Cultures Link?
We are the first female-led platform on the internet created to help diaspora kids and immigrants connect or stay connected to their ethnic roots.
In consideration of the unique needs immigrants have which include: community connections with others who share the same backgrounds, cultural assimilation support, and cultually competent educators &mental health professionals; This platform was created to address all these issues through our interactive webinars led by professionals stemming from diverse cultural backgrounds and fields.

Dr. Shilpa Sonawane
Indian Cultural Representative
With a PhD in Cultural Anthropology and Ethnography, I specialize in the cultures and diasporas of Greater India and Austroasian countries. My multidisciplinary expertise includes English Literature, Tantric Art, Indology, and Gender Studies. Through my extensive fieldwork, I have contributed to the preservation of Indian culture. As your cultural coach, I aim to guide you through self-discovery so that you can fully embrace your Indian heritage.
Tehmina Qureshi
Pakistani Cultural Representative
As a former journalist with a rich background in social reporting, I have acquired a deep understanding of the diverse layers that make up Pakistani society. My years of experience have given me profound insights into various aspects of Pakistani culture and traditions that I am eager to share with you. I strongly believe in the power of reconnecting with our roots in order to gain a deeper sense of identity and belonging and I look forward to guiding you through this journey.

As a practising mental health professional who specializes in areas such as anxiety, generational trauma, and other cultural factors that interlope with mental health, I am here to help you find your way through connecting with your roots.
